For the third year, Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre was invited to be a featured guest at the World Congress of Dance Research in Athens, Greece. Working closely with Dr. Alkis Raftis, Eleni Kouki, Adamantia Angeli, Kaleidoscope has become an important part of each summers event.

At the Institute of International Relations in Plaka, Athens Greece, Sean McLeod, President & CEO, New York Institute of Dance & Education & President of Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre; Idil Kadioglu, Festival Organizer of Transcontinental Dance Fest (Turkey), Zhanna Golubenko, Classical ballet soloist and repertoire specialist (Cyprus), Kierstyn Zaykoski, National Director, New York Institute of Dance & Education & Principal Dancer of Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre; Eldar Dzhfarov, Cofounder of Smooth & Rhythm Dance Style (Azerbaijan); Izabela Gavioli, Specialist in Rheumatology and Sports Medicine, Assistant Professor of Bachelor Course in Dance at Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil); and Dr. Moushumi Kandali (India), and more presented scholarly Research at the 63rd World Congress of Dance Research.

At the Dora Stratou Amphitheater, Sean McLeod and Kierstyn Zaykoski performed two works: Spontania Homme -2nd Movement, and Su Momento , and led a McLeod Technique Master Class to end the event.
