The New York Dance Festival
The New York Dance Festival is one of the most unique, refreshing, and inspired international dance festivals in the world! Hosted by the Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre and the New York Institute of Dance & Education, this Festival just celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2025. The Festival is a two week experience with daily master classes, a World-Class concert series, panel discussions and more and is hosted at Lincoln Center through a partnership with Jonathan Stafford, Artistic Director of the New York City Ballet and School of American Ballet.
the Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival
The Harriet Tubman Freedom Music Festival takes place annually. The Music Festival is hosted by two businesses of color, the New York Institute of Dance & Education and the Kaleidoscope Dance Theatre. The concert highlights Tubman’s legacy by celebrating “What it Means to Be Free!”, and features the music of “A Soundtrack for Harriet Tubman” composed by International Producer and multi-award winning personality Sean McLeod. The entire undertaking is a wondrous and inclusive gift of local and global community building.
